National Museum of Asian Art - Smithsonian   One of the finest collections of Islamic art in the US, from the earliest century of Islam to present.

Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Nature of Islamic Art series of essays from the Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History  featuring artists and works in the Met collections, essays, and historical context.

Modern Art Iraq Archive (MAIA)   Modern art from the Iraqi Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad, much of which was lost or damaged in the aftermath of the 2003 US invasion of Iraq.
