Physical Therapist Assistant Guide

A guide to Library resources and the research process for Physical Therapist Assistant students at LCC.

Accessing library materials in Medford

PTA students located in Medford have two primary ways to get access to library materials to support their research and learning as LCC students.

LCC Library's ebook and online collections are available using an L-number. This material includes 200K+ ebooks, and 90+ research databases for articles, streaming media, and online encyclopedias.

To access physical books from the LCC Library (or Summit) in Medford, please use Summit borrowing through the arrangement between SOU and RCC. LCC and SOU are both part of the Orbis Cascade Alliance which facilitates shared lending across multiple libraries in Summit. You are required to set up an account at SOU/Rogue to connect your L-number to another Summit lending location through the Summit Visiting Patrons program. When making a Summit Request, be sure to designate the location at Medford-RCC for pick-up, if that is your preferred location.

When LCC/Medford students are on the Lane Main campus, you are welcome to borrow LCC Library and return them to us through the SOU Library at Rogue Community College Library.

For additional questions, please contact Claire Dannenbaum at the LCC Library, or the contact the Circulation desk at RCC: 541-245-7512.
