Create Citations Using NoodleTools

NoodleTools icon You can use NoodleTools to create a bibliography, which should be the last page of your paper. You'll need to create an account the first time you use it. Remember, for this paper we are citing sources in MLA, not APA, format.


Other Resources to Help You Avoid Plagiarism

  • Example of an MLA-Formatted Research Paper
    This paper is not dance-related, but it does provide an example of how to correctly format an MLA research paper. Pay special attention to the first and last pages.
  • Quoting, Paraphrasing, & Summarizing
    This guide from the University of Arizona gives guidance on when and how to quote, paraphrase, or summarize sources of information.
  • In-Text Citations: An Overview
    Each citation consists of two parts. You have to cite your source of information at the end of your paper in your Works Cited list (your MLA bibliography). But you also have to cite it in-text in parenthesis. This is also called a parenthetical citation. This website will clue you in on how to do an in-text citation.

    Voice markers are methods of introducing sources into your writing. In this video, it will explore various voice markers and how to incorporate them into your writing.
