International Encyclopedia of Dance

International Encyclopedia of Dance With nearly 2,000 articles written by scholars from fifty countries, the International Encyclopedia of Dance covers the full spectrum of dance—theatrical, ritual, dance-drama, folk, traditional, ethnic, and social dance. Cultural and national overviews are accompanied by entries on dance forms, music and costumes, performances, and biographies of dancers and choreographers.

When searching the Encyclopedia of Dance, don't use the search blank at the top of the page! Instead, use the "Search within work" search blank on the left side of the page:

The LCC Library Online Catalog

You can find books, ebooks, streaming video, and DVDs using the LCC Library's online catalog. You can find the catalog search blank on the main Library website:

If you search selecting the "LCC Only option, you will find only those items owned by the LCC Library. If you search selecting the "LCC + Summit" option, you will find not only items owned by the LCC, but also items owned by almost 40 other libraries in the Pacific Northwest. You can request that these items be sent to the LCC Library and held in your name. This is called Summit service. If you use Summit service, it can take up to a week for your items to be delivered, so allow yourself some extra time.
